Whispers of Adventure

It's a Saturday night in Minneapolis. You walk into a warm room, waft in the aroma of freshly baked food, and hear sounds of laughter and dice rolling on tables (hopefully Natural 20's!). Here's what's within.

Hundreds of board games right off the shelf. Grab a title, claim a table, and roll. Staff who know the collection and will find the perfect game for your exact group - no more staring at a wall of boxes wondering where to start.

The Bar & Kitchen

Craft coffee in the morning. Cocktails, local beer, and wine by evening. A kitchen built for the game table - shareable, satisfying, and designed for the long session. Much better than standard adventurer rations!

The Back Rooms

Rentable private space for your D&D, Pathfinder, or any tabletop RPG campaign. Your party's permanent home base - no more cramped apartments, no more losing your spot.

Weekly Events

Learn-to-play nights, tournaments, league play, and community mixers on the regular. Come in solo and leave with a standing crew. Our weekly calendar has all kinds of games to try.

The Catalogue

A digital game catalogue so you can scout the library before you arrive or in-store, filter by player count and playtime, and show up with a plan. No analysis paralysis - just more time with the cardboard and friends!

Everyone's Table

Monthly LGBTQ+ game nights with 10% donations to a local LGBTQ+ friendly charity. A real code of conduct. A staff that means it. This table belongs to everyone, and we're not quiet about it.

This Is Happening

Help Us Write the First Chapter

Every great campaign starts with a party willing to show up before the map is drawn. That's what we're asking. We're launching on Kickstarter this spring, and how many adventurers we reach directly determines how we open - the size of the space, the depth of the library, the scale of the store we get to build.

Minneapolis doesn't have a place quite like this yet. The Twin Cities tabletop community is enormous, passionate, and completely deserves The Sending Stone. What we build here - if enough people back it - could become the model for what a tabletop gaming café and bar looks like in every city that comes after.

The Neighborhood

South Minneapolis

We chose South Minneapolis on purpose. It's one of the city's most walkable, creative, and independent corridors - home to young professionals, artists, cyclists, and curious newcomers who already know how to find a good thing. This is a neighborhood that deserves a gathering place like this, and we're committed to the community that already calls it home.
